Opening their season in Atlanta, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defeated Georgia Southern, 84-62. Miles Kelly led the Yellow Jackets in scoring with 25 points. Deebo Coleman added 17 points while Kowacie Reeves Jr. pitched in 15 points in the win. Tyzhaun Claude delivered a double-double for Georgia Tech with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
