Definitely so sad to see this team crumble. I don’t know what to think here between the coaching staff and the players. Our coaches led some pretty exciting playoffs seasons the last two years. Personally I think cutting the coaching staff is a bit overkill. Better to make some tough player trades and ride out the rest of the season with current coaches as is. I’m curious what the Oilers fan base thinks about the players and how possible trades might improve the overall team performance? I hate to say it but I think Bouchard needs to go. His slap shots are stellar but a bit of a one trick pony. We really need enhanced defense and players who are more versatile and help balance the talent versus weakness of this team.
I’ve always liked holland but he thinks he’s dealing with a team full of 24 year olds. They are aging and it’s showing, sucks to see but we need to do something big before it’s to late. Woodcroft has been good but he changes the lines way to much and never holds players accountable. Good coach but not his kind of team, could see him ending up in Ottawa. I think we need a defensemen before a goalie, that blue line is just killing me, take some minutes away from bouch would help to, trade ceci and get another defensive d man like mayfield or something.
The Oilers are making their best effort for an unprecedented FIFTH #1overall pick. All in the past 10 or so years. Lololol the really sad thing is the 4 that they have already had have resulted in ZERO Cups. What a loser town.
Not the least bit excited if this rumor is true with Coffey coming in as GM and Gulickson as coach. We need a hard ass coach who will hold these players accountable. Gullickson has been here for awhile so likely the same approach as now. Was hoping for a no nonsense veteran like Gallant.

If they don't also fire the goalkeeping coach, there's never going to be change.
How about give us a viable goalie before firing anybody. Holland can go ..let Woody stay with a goalie he can do it
