McDavid should come out and say he isn't 100% healthy. He scored 153 points last year and now the Sharks are completely shutting him out in a 1 goal game. There is no way they lose that game if McDavid was healthy.
Not a fair situation for canadian teams with no trade clauses and canadian teams need to pay a premium to get players too.
Eithout draft picks and great development its hard to get the real talented players.
Oilers have been fighting an uphill battle.

I would argue McDavid ruined his own career by commanding a ton of $$. He is a very good player, if you want to win, you have to have players to play around you… he chose $$ over a winning team!
As a life long Oilers fan, i genuinely hope McDavid and Draisaitl move on and get cups elsewhere, they deserve that much at the very least. Whether they wait out their contracts and get bought elsewhere or get traded, they deserve better than Edmonton.
McDavid really needs to jumpstart his guys though. All look dead inside but especially McDavid. I saw others comment on how he looks. He just doesnt look well to me and others. And i dont mean that in a mean way by any means. Hopefully hes okay.
What else could you have expected? Oilers haven't known what to do with talent for years. As soon as they picked him, his future was shot.

Dude, love the content. Amen on the importance of goalie coaches and the new idea of goaltending development departments. If you haven't heard of Mitch Korn.. check him out. I always call him the goalie Jedi. The list of great goalies he's coached is astounding.. and he's still going. Sorokin. He's pretty good, eh? That's just Korns current magic.
Strangely or not, I can imagine Draisaitl in another uniform, but still having trouble wrapping my head around McDavid in another sweater, no granted, we've got precedence with the Jack Eichel saga, and look how well that worked out for the player

Mcdavid and Ovechkin don’t look like themselves. There is a stress in their play. Crosby is playing a relaxed game and getting results .
Dave Holland is too old for this. He had his time in Detroit. It is time for him to go home.
