Cale Makar has already accomplished so much in his career and he is just about to enter his prime now. Makar has already won a Stanley Cup, a Conn Smythe, and a Norris. This season, I predict he is going to get over 100 points. To be able to dominate in this era of the NHL as a defenceman is absolutely incredible. This is why I think that Cale Makar could become the best defenceman of all time. He is the most complete 2 way defenceman ever.

I approve of this message. Hope you're right. I definitely think he has the potential to be.
He is awesome, but no one, no one ever, will transcend Bobby Orr – this guy is the prototype defenceman if you were building perfection. Look at his stats – +124 in a single season. 120+ pts. in a single season 4 times. And completely dominated the game at both ends – could rag the puck killing a penalty with the opposition having to send 2-3 others in after him to try and get the puck. I watched him, I hated the Bruins as a Leaf fan, but Leafs had virtually zero chance every time they played. He is the best player of all time, any position. Period.
I think Makar is going to get over 100 points this season.

I was so pissed as an Avalanche fan in 2017 when we fell to 4th place in the draft. Little did I know at the time that it would be the biggest blessing in disguise. I felt like we won this draft, and it hasn't even been 10 years yet.
