Yea you were always talking about trading him. i told you bock was the real deal. I love the guy.
Not for nothing but maybe " blowing my mind " and 69 not the best headline, jus sayin
Glad brock is scoring. But I wanna see him actually snipe, seems like all his goals this year are tap ins from within 2-3’
toc is really connecting with the players. Just like my drum corps and also my first chef. No yelling just plain straight forward talk. he treats them professionally just like my drum instructor did and why we always won.
3:45 I was MathLady.gif for a minute here, so I just wanted to note, without any disrespect, because mispronounciation just means someone has read a word more than they've ever heard the word aloud — and reading is good! 💕
So, just for future reference, "awry" is pronounced "ah-rye." (And Google says "uh-rai" which is effectively the same, but I feel like "rai" could be mistaken for "ray," so I like my phonetic spelling better lol).
What's funny is that, even knowing this, I do actually say it in my head the way you said it here, before the proper pronunciation clicks into place. Though I do tend to read everything phonetically before my brain runs an algorithm on the word and finds the correct pronunciation. Is that normal? I don't know if that's normal…
English is… fun.
Now I'm wondering about the etymology of the word. It IS an odd one.
Does anyone know what the website is called for those stats?
I'll use this frying pan as a drying pan -brock boeser
On my personal Facebook I made a bunch of predictions for this season that I thought were ridiculously optimistic because I felt that Tocchet quickly showed that he could get through to the team, and that seems to be true. I may have to make a video comparing them to the results at the end of the season, because I had stuff like:
Boeser 100pts
Pettersson 135pts
Miller 111pts
Kuzmenko 101pts**
Hughes 114pts
Hronek 76pts
Demko 0.935% 2.2GAA 6SO
Team finishing:
51-29-2 — 104pts
3rd in division
5th in conference
9th in league
—
**(I still think this could happen, I think Kuzmenko is focusing on working on what Tocchet wants from him, and when he settles in, I think that line is going to explode beyond what we've already seen).
Reality will kick in soon.

Good for Brock Boeser! Understandably, he has been somewhat distracted by his dad's health problems the last few seasons, and being so far away from home must have left him very conflicted and distracted. I hope he stays healthy and is finally able to live up to the expectations we as Canuck fans had after his rookie season.
@1:44 i think no.88's having a seizure.
Did you just make an Edge reference?
Brock the rock Boeser. Everything this guy n Canucks have gone through, so far this team has built up the mental strength to persevere so far this season. It takes 5-7 years to build a true cup contender with a core drafted group Demko, Petey, QH, Brock, n Miller adding depth last 4+ yrs. It’s good to see Brock playing to his potential. Not a cup contender yet, but treating in the right direction…
Was sort of hard to watch him play for a while. He wasn't connected and looked real unhappy. So so hapy for him this year. I said last year he has to reinvent himself. I think he has. He makes it hard for other teams to play and that is what you want. He is using his size. He has a good hockey IQ. Another reason Vancouver is doing better. Smarter play makes less mistakes. He has super hands. Great hand , eye. He might have a better season this year than I could have imagined for him.
