For already having his gloves off when he jumped Reaves from behind AND still didnt land a punch? HAHAHA The best he could do was push him into the net!!! Yeah real brave HAHA And it was not a hit from behind, the coward D man turned his back at the last second. No penalty. You clueless clowns are grasping, Habs finish fith last this year.
Any team would love to have him – not only for his physical presence but he can play his defence position and move the puck. What a find he was for the Habs – the young players will gel around the knowledge – Wifi has my back.
I'm a lifelong Leafs fan. I'd call this a draw. I don't think Reeves was jumped either. He's been in the league long enough to know somebody is likely going to challenge him after a huge hit against the boards like that. Wifi did the right thing for his team and even as a Leafs fan I'll always respect him for stepping up for his team like that.
Both of them lost their footing and it ended awkwardly with nothing major happening though. This is a draw in my books in terms of actual fight but a huge win for wifi because he put the league on notice in game 1 of the season that his players are protected. Good on him for doing that.
Reaves is a 30 going onto 40 tough guy. Tough guys at that age aren't as tough as they used to be. Why even fight Reaves again, he is a nobody. There are tougher younger guys in the league. Arber is great. He will be around this league for many years, I wouldnt want to see him fight Reaves again and get all the penalty minutes. I'd let Pezzette fight him, thats more Reaves level nowadays.
I am not a big fan of fighting. However, the league is moving in two directions simultaneously: skill levels are improving annually with young players joining and the play is getting tougher. I think teams are realizing that to get anywhere in the playoffs, you need a lot of grit. Habs need WiFi otherwise they will get pushed around. He will be an excellent defenceman as well. I am so impressed with that young player.

SPORT. NOT UFC. IDIOT. No wonder your a habs fan.
ya…then hung on reaves and looked frantic and started pushing him…..real tough
Kicked Reaves' ass. Tried to go again in the second but Reaves wanted no part of him lmfao.
he got fed and then had to push him into the net LOL
Arbor throws a good knee. I'll give him that
He also knows how too play hockey, his offensive side is underated, i see him being a regular 30 points + Dman.
