13 consecutive home games Husso has conceded at least 3 goals. Not great for someone who will play 50games this season. His glove side is really a problem.

Bad day for Husso, but a win is a win.
Husso isn't a Number 1 goalie. He has been straight garbage for a while. That game should never of been a 5-4 game. Wings need to ride Reimer/Lyon for a while.

There's this strange hodgepodge feeling to that defense+goaltending combination of the Red Wings and I suppose that's exactly what it is.
So many new guys and moving parts, the positioning is all over the place and sometimes they just look a bit lost especially when the offense comes in to "help".
Good defensive numbers and goals against comes from cooperation between the goalie and defence. If there is a weakness to a goalies game say the glove hand or in close, how about not giving the opposing team the chance to capitalize on that?
Obviously the goalie is responsible for his game too and developing it with coaching but if you know something is always bad, why in gods name would you let it happen over and over and over again.
Yeah they won this game but if Detroit is serious about playing games past the regular season and not getting bounced 4-0 on the first round, you gotta fix that.

Wrong. Like Buffalo last night in a game they should’ve won handily but instead looked like an 87-pt team squeaking out a win, games like Detroit just won show they have issues which will cost points they’ll wish they hadn’t lost when the season’s nearing the finish.
There’s emphatic wins, and there’s the kind even the team thinks wow that was fortunate, and next time we have to be better. Only that doesn’t happen, the same things keep happening, and suddenly you’re 5 pts out the Playoffs w/ three games left.
The last few years, the Wings would have found a way to lose this game. I don't like it, but baby steps forward is still moving forward.

As for CBJ, it’s starting to look like last year minus the injury bug. If I were Davidson and Jarmo I’d be worried if there isn’t a massive turnaround soon.

Jackets’ fan here. Getting through this season the only way I know how to – by gambling on every opponent to win. It’s been a good strategy so far.

The Wings got really lucky they were playing against the Jackets, we cant keep out scoring are problems. The defence needs to stop with the breakaways and Husso needs to stop letting in easy goals but one the upside, the 3rd line looked fantastic and im happy seeing Joe Veleno taking that next step
