One thing that needs to be talked about is the Dylan Holloway incident. Holloway goes to get the puck while Dunn cross checks him 3 times while the red watched it in the corner and did nothing. Holloway turns around and Dunn throws his gloves off and starts firing punches before Holloway has his gloves off. Yet the refs called 5 each for fighting. Shouldâve been an extra 2 for Dunn but itâs absolutely unreal how many calls the refs miss with the oilers.
The top line didn't give much effort since the beginning of the season. I don't see the Oilers winning much of the game unless McDavid and Drasitle finally show up to play hockey.
In the third there was a play in the d zone that Sam calmed down what looked like a little panicky , need more of that.. Drai squeezing his stick. Solid effort all around. Time to snap off a 10 game win streak or I believe change is coming. Sounds like you and the oilers are getting better.
I managed to catch the last 13 minutes!! It was looking good again!! And love human for the hat trick!! Him and skinner, along with Holloway, look as though they came to play finally!! Now hopefully that gives a boost to the rest!! Definitely a step in the right direction!!
Ceci bouchard brown and skinner or campbell need to go and throw in the goalie coach and that Nason coach as well who gives Bouchard more minutes for screwing up all the time
I'm going to start with the relatively bad. McLeod's faceoff percentage overall isn't good. He needs some Leon faceoff whispering. Next, playing Lavoie 4 minutes and 11 seconds is a waste. Send him back down and get a vet where it doesn't matter. Finally other than 2 minutes to Hyman for interference at the end of the 2nd Holloway got ALL of the penalty minutes for the Oilers (including the PP that Seattle scored on and that was 2 minutes for BOARDING). Connor and Leon were kept off the scoreboard against Seattle for I think the first time EVER. Surprisingly this is about all that really yells at me. Now for the good. Hyman, Kane, Holloway are WORKERS. Nuge too. Skinner was making saves including the first save that didn't get cleared on the PP where Seattle scored one after that. Is it enough to avoid a housecleaning in coaching and management? Who knows. They actually played decently from what I was able to catch. If they could only do this consistently. Take care all.

But there will still be changes though
This guy finally isn't so negative lol
Nice to see your relief
Nice win…now build off of it. One game at a time.
Patrick. I just love your passion for the Oilers! đ

McDavid and Draisaitl still no where to be seen on the stat sheet. Havenât had a chance to watch it. Whatâs going on with those two?
Woodcroft should still be fired. Just delaying the inevitable
Took them 14 games to put in a 60 minute effort?

I was really hoping that McDavid would have got the monkey off of his back, but all in all Iâm happy đ way to go Zach đ
Agree still need a defensive upgrade. Much improved slot coverage too. About time.
Woody is on a short lease and the team knows it. GOOD! This seems to have sparked something. The more wins, the longer the leash.

Edmonton still needs to make a huge trade or 2 still in my books. Even if it's for cap relief. Campbell and Brown for sure got 2 go
Skinner bailed the Oilers out a bunch of times. It's this kind of tending the Oilers need to win games.
