Yeah, coaching is the issue: not the AHL level team and goalies with a few superstars on the first line. I thought the Maples Leafs were a top heavy roster, but it pales compared to the Oilers.
I genuinely don’t understand how Canadian NHL teams don’t see what they are doing wrong, since they have been doing this for ages now. Cherry on top is all the Canadian fans blaming Bettman for their teams being pants on head stupid.

What are their strengths and weaknesses? Is it Ken Holland and it’s all of the above that sucks?
I don’t know much about the team, but, from what I gather, the bright points are McDavid, and draisaitl.
Now the coach is being fired, so, that feels to me like it’s Ken Holland, and honestly, I feel like the Oilers were handed McDavid a while ago, and in this entire time they’ve been shit. Which seems to me like it’s Ken Holland that sucks.
And if it is Ken Holland that sucks, what are they gonna do? Wait 2 or 3 more years to find out the next coach wasn’t the solution and *then* start building a team for McDavid with a new GM?
