He is living rent free in Dean’s head right now. He keeps baiting this team to take stupid penalties and they keep falling for it

It seems like the past couple years every effort we’ve made to play big & nasty has ended in disaster. Too many teams know how to counteract this kind of play now.

It kind of feels like we’re still scared of the ghost of not having someone big enough to stop fucking Johnny Toews on a dynasty squad ten years ago. Let’s just get over it.

Are folks referring to the Duhaime hit? It wasn’t even greasy or dirty.

I’ll admit I get tilted by the way the Stars play like such fucking nancies. They did this all of Round 1 and sure it’s a strategy to play like a fucking greasy turd and get our team worked up but they refused to answer the bell and we’re diving like a fucking band of seals. Was also fun for “playoff hockey” as a concept in the NHL to completely disappear after we deliberately ramped up for that style of play. Absolutely pathetic in my opinion and they were playing the game of hockey like the worst foul merchants the NBA has to offer. Shameful. Sucks we lost the series but what sucked more was the way the Stars won it. Fuck I hate pro sports these days man, I wish they were more ‘video recorded high level competition’ and less ‘thinly veiled scripted business model’. Oh well, at least they’re still a blast to get out and play.
