In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about Max Pacioretty’s meeting with the press and when we can expect to see him game ready. Max tore his Achilles twice in a span of five months. He admitted that his mind went to some dark places. He even thought about walking away from hockey. He said that he’s a hockey dad and he isn’t ready. There’s no clear timetable on his return but is taking steps in the right direction. Later Dan talks about the latest with Nic Dowd and Joel Edmundson. Both players will be added to the roster soon. In the last segment Dan talks about Alexander Suzdalev and how is was reassigned to play in Sweeden.

Does Alex Alex require waivers to be sent down? Do you think he'll clear if so?
Really want to see Max in the lineup, but the later he comes back the bigger risk that the lines get screw-y
