Powerplay is not the problem anymore, but the 5v5 play is subpar

Turning the corner. But dang, how long is this corner?

  4. We’re still not a total of 100% when you add PK and PP, so there is still room for improvment, but at least we are not the Blues.

I still want a bigger sample size before I deem the PP “fixed” but I’m enjoying the early results so far, it’s a lot more entertaining to actually be excited to get on the man advantage, and the Pp itself has looked a lot more entertaining too with more movement from the players and attacks coming from different areas (not just Cole or Suzuki on the half wall). There’s still room for improvement but it’s been a pleasant surprise to see. Now we just need to get the 5v5 play back to where we know it can be. If we ever get good 5v5 scoring supported with a decent power play we’re gonna be in good shape

So weird, like it’s is not a very dominating / dangerous PP a lot of games but they are top 10. I guess one can’t complain because it scores it’s just weird that it seems like we could be so much better on the PP I guess that’s a good thing 😂

Still wanna see more out of the PP. Factor in all the PP’s where we haven’t produced, just playing pass in the corner basically.

It’s a huge improvement though. Just one too many times we have guys out there just lost on the ice making blind passes. That Vancouver game was pretty hard to watch. Habs could barely get past the neutral zone and then got stuck in corners if they did make it into the offensive zone.

  8. Wow. Oilers in 9th? Their goaltending must be even worse than I thought.

I believe the term Bryan Mudryk used to use is “vaunted”, in a sarcastic way

It’s definitely help us win a few games
