Man I’ll be shocked if both Draisaitl or Mcdavid sign extensions. Not trying to shit on oilers fans, but Draisaitl looks totally dejected and the way things are now, and have been over the past decade, it doesn’t seem likely that he’d sign another long term extension. McDavjd staying seems more likely because he’s the captain but if Draisaitl leaves, either as a FA or through an underwhelming trade, how many years does that set the oilers back? Would the ultra competitive McDavid want more of his prime potentially wasted?
