Oilers fault $5 smilly for a goaltender. Look at Boston , Ullmark no high money goalie either but the difference he has an entire team in front of him. Not just 3 or 4 guys
Iām a canucks fan, but i wanna see campbell do well. Which is funny cause heās not even Canadian. As a goalie myself, I just donāt like seeing these guys having bad runs like this.
Man the third goal, wow, Jjjjjjjackie cant even stop a beachball right now. These highlights (or lowlights) also confirm the following : Poor defensive zone play/coverage, leaving the slot wide open, not taking the body, not being hard on the puck, giveaways…etc….poor goaltending seem to be an organizational philosophy for the Oilers from top to bottom. Teaching their young players poor skills right from the minors. So, lets not be so hard on the Edmonton Oilers players. Thats all they know.
Itās sad cuz just in the 2022 playoffs this man was carrying the leafs and took them to a game 7 against Tampa bay and now heās in the AHL and even worse heās still struggling there too.
dear god theyre defensman are awful or theyre systems are…both i guess…theyre not even in the defensive zone half the time or only one is and the other ones skating up its so great to see theyre teaching them young down there
he thinks he played well, plays good enough, that's his mind set, "I played good enough" if oilers had Hellebuyck, 5 million a year, Oilers can't trade him, no one wants him, 5 million a year for 5 years, what 3 years remaining,
Well, now we know where the Oilers learned their team defensive structures. The more I see of this, the more sympathy I have for Campbell. You could put the 1996 Patrick Roy behind that defense and he'd probably get beat for 4 goals too.
Coming from a leafs fan who still loves you Jack: itās not over. You were in these slumps before, like all goalies. I know your confidence is shattered but thereās thousands of people and fans who still believe in you, buddy! Donāt Give up, Jack! I canāt wait to see you come back. I know there are deeper issues in your life beyond the locker room, those too, shall pass. All the best!
