Dylan Strome notched his team-leading seventh goal of the season and Charlie Lindgren made 35 saves to earn his first career shutout as the Washington Capitals blanked the Vegas Golden Knights 3-0
2nd in the Metro! Looks like the team is finally on the same page as Carbery. It stinks that Ovi isn't scoring all that much, but I'm happy that the Caps are winning. Lindgren also needs to be the starter. He's been phenomenal. Go Caps!
The Capitals defense is as bad as I expected it to be, but their goaltending has been much better than I expected it to be. The Capitals gave up far too many great scoring opportunities in this game.
The fact you can ruin a scoring rush with some bish made 'I gotta fight after a clean hit' action drives me nuts. Glad to see the instigator/unsportsmanlike penalties popping up now. If your boy can't keep his head up, why punish the other team?
What a surprising start of the season for the Capitals. I thought for sure they were gonna be a dumpster-fire, but the Caps and the Ducks are probably the two biggest over-achievers so far this season.
