  1. there might be a couple but i don't harbour any bad feelings. he didn't ask for a trade, he was traded. out of his control.

  2. Bad choice of words. The interviewer asked him to react to the Islander crowd, and he said “better than Vancouver.” Maybe he was just hyped up after a win and was happy to have fans cheering instead of booing him, but it’s hard to take those words any other way. And I get it. The franchise was a mess and he was happy just to move on. But he DID make it about the fans. As a Bo Horvat fan, blaming the fans for being upset about losing and constant meltdowns is ridiculous. Have fun on Long Island, millionaire.

  3. if vancouver was doing bad he would get boo'd forsure. but with how things are going i bet he gets a standing ovation

  4. He was heart n soul and what he did in the bubble was phenomenal. He will be cheered during the video tribute, but I'm sure a handful of fans will boo him. He didn't think he would be traded, but he played a dangerous game holding out for more and lost.

  5. Disgusting that sportsnet would even publish a headline like this. Are they trying to incite this gross action? Seems like it.

  6. I think it's just inevitable that former core players get boo'd when their reason for leaving has to do with wanting more money. So I'm predicting some boos, but they'll wear off pretty fast once people get it out their system because Canucks fans don't have a genuine hate for him as he was a good player when he was in Vancouver. Plus it's not like he took a discount on his new contract, if he did though, then people would be steaming lol.

  7. Bo is gone from Van, stop being petty. Game on. That's how pros play. However, since we're talking Van fans, you have a legit question

  8. Vancouver is playing so much better now without all those dudes, Horvat, Tanev, Loui Eriksson, Edler, etc. They all have heart, but man was that team exhausting to see.

  9. Bro if he had a bit of a better wording in that interview, Vancouver would be rolling out the red carpet for his return. A hero's welcome of sort. What is missing from his quote is the CONTEXT of it, it's no secret that the Canucks have been horrible most of the time Bo was there. The only time fans had anything to cheer about was the bubble, aka no fans allowed there, while Bo was popping off in the 2020 playoffs, there was literally no fan reactions in the area. But Bo popping off on the Islanders in their hunt for the 2023 playoffs, fan were there and loud, of course that feels better. It isn't Bo fault for the Canucks only making the playoffs in 2020 in the bubble, that's poor management and he didn't ask to be traded either, again management.
