The Toronto Maple Leafs took to the ice in Sweden for their first on-ice session ahead of the NHL’s Global Series. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti look at some storylines to follow for the team in Sweden including Willam Nylander getting a high demand for tickets and whether this could provide John Klingberg the reset he needs? Mike and Dave touch on the rumour that the Leafs and Patrick Kane had a meeting with the forward training in nearby Oakville and whether the fit makes sense for the team. To end the show, Mike and Dave discuss the potential changes to 3-on-3 overtime being discussed by NHL GMs and the PWHL revealing jerseys which missed the mark.

Does Toronto REALLY need Kane?? Isnt more defense and goaltending more important? Dont pull an edmonton?
Can't wait till McDavid is a Leaf…soon
Kadri Tanev Zadorov for Tavares Broadie Kilingberg 1st 2nd 3rd
hard NO for Kane …he's coming off Hip surgery, he will be rusty as hell for 20 games….then maybe play 10 decent games. He won't be the same guy. plus he's weak defensively
I know you don't necessarily like the idea of Patrick Kane being on the third line, or at least think that he wouldn't accept it but who was his linemate in Chicago last season up until the deadline? 🤔 I think the Leafs know. Built-in chemistry 😎
Would pass on Kane & get one or two solid defenceman
