Watch as Cale Makar picks up the puck and goes on a solo rush, skating past the Islanders’ defence and finishing with a filthy backhand goal to give Colorado the lead.

I have 4 young’s guns of Cale Makar 😁😎👌🏽
Nasty.
Remind me of a mcdavid goal
Filthy
How is no one concerned that this was 10000% offsides – an impressive “goal” but when you start looking at offsides “goals” it begins to pale, there are so many that are correctly called back. Literally two players are offsides as he enters the zone. No idea why the Islanders didn’t challenge this. It literally may be the difference in this game. It was 5-4 before empty nets, and the Islanders 3-2 lead later would have been 3-1. Even if the momentum had no difference, it would still have been 4-4 instead so no empty net two-fer. Horrible non-call by the linesman who was literally on top of one of the two offsides players.
