I think itās important to note that both of Tanevās injuries with the Kraken were the result of another player hitting him. I guess you could argue they would be a result of how he plays if you think that style of play puts a target on him? š¤·š»āāļø

The Rangers didn't want him to go. Its a loss. If they weren't a contender he'd probably be the coach but they wouldnt hold him back from an opportunity. He'll get his head coaching experience in the minors in Edmonton and come back to NYC when hes seasoned.
Any idea that Lafrenierre at age 21 was a "bust" is comical at best. Same goes for Kakko. Add a couple years for Kakko due to his coming from Europe and being a quiet personality. The only way the Rangers move Kakko is for a very very similar prospect or return. Perhaps Turcotte in LA….but not likely.
Jack will be back soon for NJ as heās rumored to be with the team in Pittsburgh. Hischier may not play another game this season.
