Saturday looked like a playoff game. Both teams concentrated on limiting chances. Vancouver waited for their chances and took advantage when they got them. Demko shut down Dallas when they got theirs. Total team effort.

We did not give up a first for Hronek for nothing. He still was a bit of a questionmark. He really did not have healthy years from the start. He looked good till he got hurt and left you wanting to see more. Have a good team to play on not getting hurt and getting healthy and better all the time. He is super strong and compliments Hughes. He is by far the second best defenseman we have had in several years. Hard to rate him, but it is high. Both players are super good. Our schedule looks favorable to.
Could it have been possible if Hronek wasn't playing so well as a defensive prospect for Detroit, Holland might have had more need to pick a defenceman (QH) in 2018 instead of Filip Zadina?
