Although that rookie line is a bit of a powerhouse, Perreault’s been playing really well. The 8 game point streak is impressive and 15points on the season is fantastic.

I went to both games up in Orono this weekend.
Surprisingly Maine controlled the play overall, and trailed for the first time all weekend when BC won the shootout (in 8 rounds) in the second game.
In the first game especially, BC’s first line was ridiculously dominant when they were on the ice. When they weren’t, Maine was the better team even though BC has many more drafted players.
I don’t know enough to know how what I watched with Perreault’s skating translates to what is required at the NHL level, but his stick handling, passing, and accurate wrist shot were all extremely impressive.
His linemates Smith and Leonard looked good as well but Perreault’s skill just jumps out at you.
