God please no. I love this roster as is. Unless it’s 850k or less and he’s gonna play ONLY with kreider and Zib. Him and panarin together was a nightmare.
Patrick Kane is not going to Rangers there was a report that Rangers were out
I'm torn… For entertainment purposes I would like to have him again. From a team structure standpoint, I don't see the need. The positive this time around however, would be coaching. Peter has this team rolling and I think he's smart enough to be able to find the right place for Kane to be plugged into. If it was Gallant still, it would be a HARD no for me.
Even if the Rangers wanted to bring Kane back. They'd need to free up over 120k in salary. Also, just too many unknown factors to really throw Kane into this roster. Yes, he knows most of the players but, he doesn't know the system, a hip surgery of his kind and at his age will also be an issue. Sure, I've been hard on Wheeler but he's been playing better the past few games. too many "what if's" when it comes to the Rangers signing Kane. The Hip is my biggest concern. Even with it repaired, it'll never be the same again and in hockey, you really count on your hips to turn sharply when needed. With his surgery/age. That probably isn't going to be possible, he'll be slower in that type of situation now.

According to Larry Brooks this isn't happening.
He was such a bad fit for the Rangers. I'm blown away that they really picked him up to sell jerseys when we could have actually gone for a cup.
Plus, he's just a really crappy person.
