Played cricket for 20 years grew up with it my whole life felt lucky to have seen him play when he retired we all sighed we knew the best was giving it up Then we learned that Warnie was the most wonderful commentator and when the day came that i heard on the radio the great had passed i actually turned my car around and drove home stopped me in my tracks i went home got very emotional thinking about the gravity of it all and after some time it hit me i wasnt going to be able to listen to him commentate for the next 25 years There will never be another Warnie
The best thing about an Ashes summer: it leads me to watching stuff like this. "Use the technology to get it right. Check the camera angle" ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
I'm loving the ashes. I love cricket. I'm an Englishman but my god I love the commentary here. Having said that I really miss him. I miss his knowledge and his balance in the commentary box. I miss seeing him bowl and I miss the comfort and familiarity that his voice gave me when I listened to the cricket. Miss you dude and thank you for everything. You were the best I've ever seen. Love from a humble Englishman โค
This is English crickets problem. A persona like Warne would never get within a cooey of national representation since all the best opportunities go through the private schools and state schools don't play cricket. 95 per cent of the population are therefore closed out and 5 per cent get all the resources and facilities.
When will the truth come out , that he had his ๐๐only 3 days before his trip too Thailand & just maybe had something too do with his untimely passing
There are some great people in commentary for sure, but fucken hell we miss Warnie. It's just not the same without him. We missed him terribly on the field when he retired, but we still had him in the commentary box. But like Rob Key said: "That's done now". What a loss. Cherish what you've got people, never take it for granted. It can be taken from you at any time.
The absolute bain of every England supporters life but an absolute legend and he reminds me of Gaza a floored legend but a legend all the same the greatest of all time regardless of what the records say

I just miss Shane's knowledge of cricket. He wasn't just a great bowler but he was also an excellent fielder and he could bat pretty well. He encouraged so many people all over the world in quite a selfless way.
A absolute gentleman. I was never the biggest cricket fan but when Shane Warne was in town you had to watch. People say he changed cricket but I don't agree with that. It was just his talent that drew people like me, he was unique not just his talent but his sportsmanship was huge. I think it's sad the only one of the top 5 not a sir!!!
Still cannot believe warnie has gone such a legend on and off the pitch how I wish he was English god bless Shane you with always be the greatest r I p mate
