The GOAT is back!
I love Willy, but the best thing for the team would be to trade him. He has insane value right now, and based on his personality and representation, he will be looking for the most money possible, wherever that may be. This is not a do or die year for the Leafs, they will be able to compete for the next few years at least. Trade him now and position the team for better success next year, the year after, and the year after that, instead of keeping him and putting all the chips into this year
Do not make it a 3 pt league. Keep it 2 pts for a regulation win. 1 point for an O.T. win and no more loser points. A loss is a loss. Time to put on yer big boy pants and suck it up. Stop giving out participation points for teams bruised egos because Bettman wants parody in the league.

Leafs can sell high on Nylander right now, the only way they ever get an impact top 2D will be to move a player like him. Main thing is you can't let him walk for nothing. Either they commit to a big number and term before the deadline or move him for D. The only way Kane fits is if one or two of the top 9F's gets moved in a deal for D soon..stay tuned!
Nylander is the victim of team cap limits. His future with the Leafs looks bleak.

Your comments about trading Nylander Makes absolutely no sense . You want to trade your top guy . Do you honestly think Matthew's and Marner will take you to the Cup. Great to have great defence but you need players who will show up in Playoffs and score goals .
