Meanwhile they had been testing it out for a few months prior at house shows in 1988 and the crowd went apeshit for Warrior as they did here – so they knew they were making the right move by casting Beefcake aside in favor of Warrior. We were at one of them at Maple Leaf Gardens in August of 1988, just few days before Summerslam.
