I don't know who took over the game recap studio, but they need to step up their game. Consistently, I've seen:
– plays that lead to nothing
– highlights out of order (2nd period to 1st period etc.)
– goals that only get shown through replays instead of real time
– no replays of highlight reel goals, hits and saves
– clips where the commentators are talking about nothing of note while nothing happens on the ice
– coach's challenge where they don't show the result or the infraction
The list goes on. You need to be better. I'll wait for a good set of highlights rather than watch through something that was slammed together in the quickest way possible.

The only glaring weakness is still Georgiev. On any other team with an average defense, he’d get lit up for 4+ every night. I know it sounds like nitpicking, but this will matter (again) in the playoffs. Especially in tight one goal games.

The Anaheim Ducks put in one of the worst performances I've seen all season. That was really bad, almost as if they were not even trying all game.
Now that is what the Avs are made to do. Why they had those shutout lapses recently who knows. Now some of those goals were soft but they still poured it on in classic style. The Ducks just were not there tonight. League should have given them one more night off after Nashville. Very hard turnaround.
