  1. Steven A Smith you have just gotten your credibility back, thank you brother for using your light to acknowledge God of Israel and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God's children are suffering and being mistreated His grace and mercy will propel us to do amazing things. God bless you and your family ❤

  2. Car jacking, kidnapping, robbery and sexual battery in 2015. Sentenced to 38 years. Feel bad for the kid but dad earned the right to sit in that cell. Jail is a nasty place and it always has been, we must make better choices so we never have to be in that place. Remember the true victims in these types of cases are the ones the criminal act’s were done to, the family of that person and CJ and his family.

  3. The Lord put it on my heart years ago to pray for the incarcerated, and l have been doing so fervently.
I am a grandmother , and l have a grandson who is this young prodigy's 3:52 twin. The only thing is, my Derrick doesn't know beans about football; he opted for Science instead.

I just love this baby and have done so since watching him play for Ohio Buckeyes, and confessed before God and the world that he loves the Lord and gave Him the glory, honor and the praise, for all of his accomplishments. God is using him in a special way, not so much for Texans Football, but for the glory of God. CJ says himself, "give God the Praise."

All young men, regardless the color need to set up and take Notice.. What better way to do it than through a sport that Americans idolize, Football? Love him.

  4. Bro maybe there are rats but they still all getting high if they want to, actually I think quite the opposite. Look into Japanese prisons, even the best behaved prisoners have to march in lines, fold bedsheets with certain folds facing certain directions, and work most of the day or they lose privileges. Most of their prisons are filled with old people since the younger generations are to scared to break the law. Go anywhere other than America and you won’t see prisoners getting high enjoying themselves at all. The conditions of prison here are too nice

  5. CJ is an incredible talent but what he said in that interview wasn't one of his better moments. He considered himself an expert enough to comment on the justice system and how bad he thought it is, because he has watched some videos? He loves his dad, and he doesn't like it that his dad might see some roaches or rats in the prison. Let's see, what is his dad in prison for?
To quote Stephen Smith, he committed some horrific crimes and was a repeat offender. Those fellas don't deserve a whole lot of great living conditions because they have severely hurt others. His dad is being treated very humanely but even so, he owes a debt to society, and it needs to be paid.
I am so tired of hearing these families of violent criminals complaining that their family member doesn't deserve to be in prison or that he doesn't have all he wants while in prison. Hey CJ, I can promise you this: if you persist in going down this road of sticking your nose where it doesn't belong, you will become another Colin Kaepernick.
Don't believe me? Keep it up and watch your career go down the tubes.

  6. He should be an MVP candidate. Best pro quarterback THE Ohio State University has produced and he's just getting started. O-H

  7. There are prisons in the southern states that don’t have a/c. I don’t care who you are or what you’ve done you don’t deserve that kind of life.

  8. He is 100% correct the judicial system needs to be updated. Many of the laws are outdated and shouldn't apply to modern society. Take it from someone who lived it

  9. One thing is for sure his father won't have anything to worry about when he finally gets out of prison because his son CJ got him covered home , car , money, dad will be able to live comfortably

  10. are you ever gonna apologize to the Texans franchise for accusing them of being racist for firing 2 inept placeholder HC? and right after hiring a great black HC and QB? no right. Lucky we live in a world where someone with a platform doesn't receive consequences for lies.

  11. ❤❤❤😊 Go Texans
Let's get CJ SHROUD DAD some foot ball games so he can see is Son play 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  12. I’m a Texans fan, and rock with CJ. He is definitely entitled to his opinion. But if we are going to have serious talks about reform we have to talk about both sides of the issue. I have not confirmed the charges myself through credible sources, but I have read his father carjacked and kidnapped a woman. I would ask does the victim care he is living with rats and roaches? Prayers to CJ and his family I’m sure it’s tough, but I would argue that making the offenders the victim in their own crimes is already being taken too far. Which is why we currently have violent offenders out on multiple bonds walking free in the City of Houston. Again no disrespect to CJ, I am a fan. But if we are going to have serious talks, then let’s have serious talks on both sides of the issue

  13. The criminal justice system has its own issues, but your dad just couldn't stay out of crime. Very disappointed with his comments.
