I literally called this during the summer. Literally, all Treliving had to do was go after a defensive defenseman like Dumoulin, Graves, yet he still chose Klingberg.
Jonas is not good on this show.

nobody is going anywhere and people saying fire or trade this person or that in game 13 are delusional at best nothing is happening its adversity like almost every other team goes through. They gotta work through the issues and get back on track EVERYONE on the team. Media love to single people out its the collective that has to be better point blank.

What i font grt it is klingberg was known for offence and his defence was and always was suspect…treluving made a boo boo…but tre was slways known to try and get the "sexy" names. …give klingberg a break…hes only one player….why dont you criticize marner and matthews defencive skills too? Tre shoukd not have signed klingberg…he isnt a hrlpnto a team thst needs defencive grit and structure

Brad Treliving didn't do anything special for the Flames so I wouldn't expect him to magically fix the Leafs either.
Always a scapegoat in Toronto. He hasnt been good. But its not like the rest of the d's are great either..

klingberg shouldn't be made a scapegoat. The Leafs have other problems besides his defensive shortcomings.
I've been wondering how well Treliving would do as GM at Toronto. So far it seems pretty iffy. His performance at Calgary can at best be described as so-so.
unless it comes out that hes been playing hurt,he should not play another game for this team Ive heard rumors that numerous Leafs are playing hurt ( Bertuzzi is another one of them ) due to the fact that the LEafs cannot call up a replaement because they are pressed so hard up aganst the cap .Not sure if this is true though .Im sure the players union would step in and force the team to sit the guy out if hes hurt

Just take a look – Toronto is such a terrible place to be a hockey player. On every corner some twitter and YouTube "experts" tear players to pieces and expose them as bein shitty. You guys are a big part of Torontos problems.
Ryan Reeves needs to be traded for bag of pucks. Not sure what's going on with Klingberg. They brought him in for offense knowing he's not much of a defensive defenseman but they are not getting offense from the guy either. Bertuzzi was a scratcher-gone-wrong. Thankfully we only have him on the books for 1 year.
