Rangers fan here, can't say I've ever seen a boarding call where the player is facing the checker. I was fine with it being a 2 minute minor, though I would've used roughing or charging since it was high. Hope Lindgren will be okay
He leads with an elevated elbow to the head. It’s a dirty hit. Clearly there was intent. The call is what it is. If you’re familiar with the Rangers and reviews you know it will never go our way. 12 minutes to review a puck clearly sitting in the goal behind the line. No goal.
