    Moving Dickinson is a must. He is not a 3C. Even if he were, he is too slow and not particularly physical to suit the players he has around him. Pearson has decent value on the team, I just doubt he would return enough in a trade.

    It’s telling however that Benning said he signed him for the optics. This was around the time he was letting all of the higher value veterans go and felt he couldn’t do it again with P. Hence, signed a bit high.

    For Pearson, at the start of the season I was having my doubts but I thought he turned it around once Boudreau arrived and ended it pretty decently. He could play top 6, PK, 2nd PP

    Would be cool to aquire forsberg but his cap will be too high

    I think Jason Dickinson was part of a bigger vision, probably to play with Ferland. Injuries messed alot of things up this year, Pettersson slow recovery, Dickinson was also recovering I believe and Ferland contract shouldn't of went through with his well documented concussion problems. Alot of bad money contracts through Benning, overpaid everyone before losing his job. Rutherford and Alvin got alot of work to fix this club. I don't think they can move Horvat or Miller, too big with the club. But alot of those players like Pearson n Dickinson should be moved to make room for free agents or contract extension. That Defense core is scary how much money is locked in there, should add Myers to that list also. Free up like 12 million… Forsberg Pastrnak or Huberdeau even. Superstar type players 👍

    For the last time Clay, Myers IS a very movable contract, that's not up for debate. He had a good season this past year

    Honestly the more I thought about it, Boeser and Poolman make the most sense to move. Boeser is barely part of the core and Poolman is questionable. Get young defensemen to fill out the blueline. Myers and Schenn will be gone in 2-4 years so successors needed.

    The Canucks have too much money tied up in their bottom six as well as on D. Pearson and Dickenson can go, your bottom six has to be ELC and old retiring players. More ELC at this stage

    Hate benning for signing Pearson for 3 years, then Dickinson then poolman. Like 8 mil in cap right there. Could sign 2 very solid players for 4 mil each

    SUSHI! We are all aware that the Canucks have a lot of money tied up in the bottom six forwards and on the right side on D. Pearson had a good turnaround since Bruce came, but I suspect you can find comparable production at a lower price. Dickinson was not a good fit and he also lacks speed, so if the Canucks can upload him, I would consider that a win. Lots of non-emotional decisions that need to be made to players of that category to free up a million here and a million there so the team can get younger and faster, and may have the money to sign Boeser and Horvat.

    Yes, Tanner Pearson can go. He is getting older and is slow.
    Dickenson is younger and may have a bounce back year…

    similar to SUSHI, Canucks have too many players that are past their 'best before' date. Time to move them out, and give the fanbase a big hit of WASABI to clear our heads of the Benning mess. LOL

    Sushi Hi how are play I'm sure you're getting excited I hope everything goes well and Sweden and you bring back a medal for Canada Dickinson has to go as long as well as some of the other middle players we need to get stronger structure and we need a better defense take care God bless
