This might be the TURNING POINT for the Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers just completed an incredible comeback against division rivals in the Seattle Kraken. This was a HUGE win for the Oilers given their terrible start to the year, and was mostly orchestrated by their top guys NOT named McDavid or Draisaitl. Evander Kane, Darnell Nurse, Evan Bouchard and Stuart Skinner really led this rally, eventually resulting in the Oilers beating the Kraken in OT!

Where do you think the Oilers go from here?

  1. As long they keep playing as a team and talking to ecother and improving your mistakes and STU and keep blocking when the defense is there with him then they can make it

  2. love to see oilers in the wild card.. and play the knights in the first round.. the get that monkey off their back i can see them going very deep

  3. A couple of decent (and lucky) plays, doesn't change the fact that Bouchard is absolute dogs**t defensively, and Nurse is a veritable pylon for 90% of the game.

Idgaf if they get a lucky comeback. You play this game 1000 times, and EDM loses it 999 of them.

    This isn't progress. It's luck.

  4. "MIGHT" ❓️

It's gonna take a lot of it, just to make the playoffs, at this juncture…a tough, 4 game, Eastern road trip is next…

Still too many team issues…with Kane's late 3rd period heroics saving them.

  5. I'm not sure the guy who posted this video has watched the Oilers all season, but Kane, Bouchard, and Nurse have definitely not been the underperforming guys on the roster this season. All three of them have played really well (Bouchard with lapses in the defensive zone, but excellent offensively). It's really been McDavid, Draisaitl, Nuge, and the goalies who have shockingly underperformed their usual standards

  6. lmao what? kane and nurse haven't been underperforming, it's been mcdavid and drai, plus the goaltending, who have been not performing up to their previous standards as much

  7. Oilers need 3 of 4 minimum on this upcoming eastern road trip, and probably all 4 games if they want to make a run at the top of the west still

  8. I mean if everyone takes a look at what the start for the Sharks in 2018-19 season they had a record of 5-12-4 something along those lines which caused them to have a team meeting with Doug Wilson after losing 6-2 to the Ottawa senators during Christmas time I get the Oilers underperformed to start the season but to write them off already is another thing to do I think this team will most definitely rebound & build up the win column a bit more they just need to find a way to dump campbells contract & move on I say do a 3 team trade & have his contract set to be buyout/ terminated. He’s not worth the 5 million!

  9. Hyman and Kane exactly what you want for 6 mill wingers in the top six. Top six is great tbh, it's depth, defense and goaltending as every year that are the problems. Nurse had his best game of the year last night.

  10. Coach finally got them to feed Kane.. You feed that guy the puck will get in the back of the net.. Glad they’re finally realizing that!!

  11. I hope they do turn it around, but don't get to excited, lets see how they do on the road trip. If they can get a couple wins or better they will be on the right track, the top guys are still on slow burn. But for the moment it looks good to see the other guys stepping up.

  12. Kane was zoned in this game. I was most impressed with his second goal the determination to get that puck in the net lmao

  13. They beat 2 really bad teams and 2 mediocre teams. They have looked better last 3 games, but I still don't see a contender. Not even close. Still, just make the playoffs and go from there.

  14. I mean…a turning point? It really isn't. Seattle has done a good job of getting a lead and then immediately throwing any resemblance of said lead into the nearest woodchipper. Also, outside of Nashville #2, Seattle is being fucking backwards about their game projections. They've beaten Carolina, Colorado, Nashville, Tampa, and Detroit(unfairly) while losing to teams like Arizona, Calgary, Florida, literally the oilers 2 games prior. Like…this is some serious false hope.
