A few days ago, Jack Hughes injured his right shoulder while playing against the St. Louis Blues. Immediately after the impact, he looked to be in serious pain. Lindy Ruff confirmed that Hughes will miss a few weeks during a recent media availability. This is a significant blow to the New Jersey Devils, but there’s still some hope.

Light up the Bratt symbol 🦇. I watched a lot of his summer training videos and I thought if he could bring that to the season it be amazing and so far he has. I think he still has another level. I'm so glad we didn't sell him for a first round draft pick.
Devils just need to stay at .500 until Nico and Jack get back.

Devils fans do not have expectations of a season goin like the last one. Its gonna be a bumpy road but just have faith in our team.
Hart trophy is honestly the least of my worries. I expect him to miss 10 games max, Nico should be back sometime in the next 3-4 games. We'll be alright

we are not a contender. We WERE a young team brimming with promise and a$$ets AND time on our side. Now we are older, more expensive, with less assets,
prospects and cap space. Fitz was bragging about how he was assembling , not just the leagues deepest 6, but the deepest 9! Funny but, now that we lose
Jack, we look an awful lot like the majority of mediocre teams in the league. Great job GM! You just couldn't leave it alone, you just couldn't let this team develop
more. NO,… we had to win NOW. I'll give you credit on the Tyler T. trade,… that was a spot of genius indeed. But you denied the money to keep our defense and
upgrade in goal to pay for your 9million dollar guy. Who, by the way, also looks rather mediocre.
Recap: we have sub par defense, we have sub par goaltending and we have NO enforcer element whatsoever. We do however, have the leagues deepest 3.
That is until Jack got hurt. Hey GM, you've been in management how long!? And we still haven't had quality goaltending since Brodeur,…!?!?
Last year we were GREAT and inspiring! Tom,…you blew it. Instead of building on what we already had, you took it apart and made us expensive, older, uninspiring and with no wiggle room to make it better. As I see it, we have to rebuild from this re-make.
In conclusion: Timo Meir, Vitek Vanecek, Colin Miller, Tomas Nosek, Ondrej Palat, Akira Schmid and last but not least, Tom Fitzgerald…. Don't Believe The Hype.
Let’s be crystal clear. Jack toe picked his right skate. This was NOT due to Justin Faulk playin his game. There was no call either. He tripped on his own accord.

He dislocated his shoulder, then hurt it again and now has hurt it a 3rd time. It is concerning!
