70 year old Errol Thompson is now happily retired and living in his hometown, Summerside PEI. The 11 season NHL veteran who scored 43 goals in one season with the Toronto Maple Leafs is playing golf 3 times a week and enjoying his grand children. John Moore sat down with Errol this week to discuss playing in Toronto on the famed Sittler, MacDonald line, owner Harold Ballard, wearing the C in Detroit and nasty tough guys in the 70’s. Errol played more than 600 games, scored more than 200 goals and yet few know he played with the Halifax Junior Canadians.
