  1. Gally cost the game. He’s a seasoned vet not a sophomore. This is the recklessness of gally that has hurt the team not just yesterday by throughout his career. He stay absent from the media because he screw the dog. Like he was absent when PK was honoured. Gally has a past with the team on ice /locker-room He has been outed for his locker room antics for being a RAT and blubbering to MB. This is the old Gally that has returned. Jealous butter and overpaid. Forget the argument he works hard. Everyone works hard. There’s no free pass libb Cb big on your past efforts is mundane.
A possible 2 points by one of the last problem players from the MB era cost the game. Retire already 1:37

  2. Drew just finished watching the rest of the podcast. The habs had a chance to win the game. Confirming that the loss verified your thoughts that they weren’t going to win is just covering why the lost. The habs kept pace. The game was list because of gally period they lost 2 goals because off gally They came back because he was off the ice. They lost because Gallagher stole the game from the habs. Period. He isn’t a sophomore.go site and podcast today I disagree with you protecting Gallagher but I understand your need to remain friendly to all

  3. A pretty dissapointing end to a good start. Primeau played well and deserved better. Nice to see Newhook wake up finally but he gets knocked off the puck easily. Slafkovsky is steadily improving and getting better. Cole seems off and Anderson is so overdue for a goal. Ylonen looked good and was rewarded. Gallager. Not sure what to say about him other than cost us the game hands down. Arber going out is going to hurt bigtime if he's out any amount of time. Again ; feel bad for Primeau. He made some fantastic saves. Like the jersey bud ! GHG

  4. Defence is our weakest point. The miscues are never ending so it will need to be addressed. Vegas was having a picnic in our end blindfolded. You see the difference with their season defence compared to ours that lacks NHL experience. It is what it is.

  5. No doubt the Habs could've done a better job. However… If the refs weren't looking to give the game to the Golden Knights and would've done their jobs when Pearson got punched in the face when entering the offensive zone, we most likely wouldn't be talking about Gallagher taking a bad penalty at 3 minutes before the end of the 3rd. These zebras NEED to be interviewed after the games by the media… I'm sick and tired of them screwing games up and running into their little rat holes at the end of the games and disappearing into the mist.

  6. Gally needs to go, and that's been my contention long before this event. This goes against the popular sentiment but I just don't like him on or off the ice. What makes it even worse is the price it will cost to move him – our potential return for say Monaghan will be a wash when offset with moving out #11.

I'm in favour of keeping Monaghan and perhaps LTIR or buyout will solve our other problem.

Hate to be negative but that's where I'm at.

  7. Watch Anderson carefully and you'll see why he can't score.

He's a beast physically, but he has the hockey IQ of a peewee. He constantly looks at the puck when he gets it. Nasty shot, incredible speed, zero vision.

    Switch his ass for Ylonen's.

  8. As the season continues, and the Habs again transition into their Farm Team due to injuries, this season does not look promising.

  9. Gally has been playing well and it’s crazy how quick all these “fans” are to switch up on him. I was absolutely not a fan of Gally coming into this season but his play was a pleasant surprise. Yes he made a really dumb play but there’s a whole lot of dumb going around this team

  10. Gallagher = Karma … Last night's late game call was a result of Gally being lazy/too tired/slow which resulted in him reaching out with his stick. The Vet "has" to know better, especially that late in the game, however it is what it is. On to the next one.

Fell bad for Primeau. The kid is really trying but….

Oh well, its a rebuilding reality though admittedly somewhat frustrating. GHG

  11. I felt badly for Primeau…he deserved a better fate. What I noticed in this game is we may have a lot of young guys who have good "physical stats"…I mean, good height, good weight for the NHL…but those numbers do not necessarily mean they are "physically mature" enough to play against older more experienced players. This present roster shows promise but definitely showing how outclassed they are versus physically mature and NHL experienced teams. Future looks great having 19-24 year olds who can progress together…but how long will fans be willing to wait to see it through to when they begin reaching their full potential at 26-28yrs old (that's 2-4…7yrs away)? Core young players, Suzuki 24, Caufield 22, Dach 22, Newhook 22, Slaf 19, Guhle 21, Xhekaj 22…with upcoming Reinbacher 19, Hutson 19, Beck 19, Roy 20, etc. Either Hughes patiently stays the course OR, super difficult decisions will need to be made to infuse&progress this rebuild sacrificing some of this young core/prospects to add significant "playoff contender" upgrades within the next couple years. My prediction, season 25'-26' will be make it or break it season for the HuGo/MSL regime.

  12. Cole needs a refresher on how to play a 2 on 1 or any type of defensive play. Boy he was lost and gets lost defensively a lot. Ya we love the kid but there is a part of his game that needs improvement. Arber injured sucks hard. Norlinder has been horrible since the start of the AHL season. He has been the worst defenseman there. Trudeau should get called up if a LH Defenseman is called up.

  13. I know Gally royally screwed up last night, but who would have imagined almost a quarter way thru the season, Gallagher would be tied with Caufield, for 2nd place in goals! lol. This isn't a good thing! lol, well it is for Gallagher i guess, in a small sense. But it doesn't unfortunately mean that Gally is having a super year, it means every one else is having a slow year. We only have 9 players who have more than one goal. We still seem to compete almost every game tho, which is awesome, hopefully loss after loss doesn't beat that attitude out of them. Because we are in for a lot of losses. Im not tryin to be mean, but it's gonna happen, we are in a rebuild, and haven't even reached the halfway point of it yet. I heard a rumor about Huberdeau wanting to come to Montreal, THAT seems like the type of move we need to avoid! And I want a goal scorer on our team more then anyone! But i dont want to pay someone $10.5M for 25 goals. Thanks Drew, another great video. Im glad u asked Ylonen that, i was wondering if they were saying it wrong.
