Bo Horvat Tribute In Return to Vancouver! Nov.15.2023

Former Canuck Horvat spent the first 9 seasons of his career with the Canucks. He was named the captain in 2019. However he was traded to the Islanders in Jan 2023 and this was his first game back in Vancouver!
Thanks for everything Horvat! You were one of my favourite players!

  1. Despite his comment, I still appreciate him and he’s been with us through some bad years. Management failed him and what he said was in the heat of the moment. He deserved the cheers!

  2. Glad Vancouver played it classy and cheered. He was a great captain and was put in a very tough spot! I also think the reporter asked him a VERY leading question in front of a full arena when his emotions were hot… not the kind of comment we need to linger over forever and ever.. Let it go and remember all of the amazing work and great goals and community work he did while he was here. He should get a warm welcome any time he comes back. Was glad he got a goal but that Vancouver still got the 2 points.

  3. Compared to Borje Salming in Toronto, it never ended.. still ongoing 😉

  4. Thanks for posting this – I missed it while watching the game on TV.
He served the team well during his time here. I always felt it's more important to measure a person's day-in day-out than on one remark.
It's too bad things got taken out of context. Frankly, I don't even blame him saying what he did given how bad the organization was in the last months of his time here.

  5. Bo Horvat: "A lot Better than Vancouver, I tell you that for free!"

    Vancouver fans: "Yeah..Bo!"

That's being a long time Canuck Fan…learning to Forgive!

  6. Anybody notice during the video tribute is Bo scoring against the Islanders. I’m sure whoever came up with the vids were dying to put that one in there. Lol😂
