David Pastrnak once again put in an MVP performance and four other Boston Brruins recorded their first goals of the season as the black and gold defeated the Buffalo Sabres to increase their record to 12-1-2.
The Bruins once again find themselves first overall in the NHL, which is quite a feat considering all the players who left the organization this past summer.

Monty, Sacco, Goaltending. That’s why they haven’t missed a beat. I would argue the Strength of Schedule has played a big part but regardless I’ll take it. JVR, Shattenkirk and Heinen came here on cheap deals to play for Monty in his system. Besides Rick Tochett he is right behind him for coach of the year.
