Breaking news from the world of ice hockey. Pittsburgh Penguins goalie, Tristan Jarry, was forced to leave a game against the Anaheim Ducks after a collision with Ducks forward Adam Henrique. The collision occurred midway through the second period. Henrique’s hip made contact with the goaltender’s head, knocking him to the ice.
Jarry was tended to by a trainer and cameras caught blood on his face from a cut. He was replaced by Magnus Helberg, who remained in the net for the third period. Jarry made 20 saves before leaving the game. He entered play Tuesday with a 3-5-0 record and .897 save percentage, but two shutouts on the season.
