NHL Career Ending Injuries

NHL Career Ending Injuries, one of the worst things about sports.

  1. Honestly one of the saddest videos there is, these are guys who have spent their entire lives grinding up to this moment just for it to be snapped away in the blink of in eye. Can’t imagine how impossibly difficult it has to be to deal with that.

  2. As an Avs fan, I'm really upset about Steve Moore's injury. From what I heard, he could have done great things in the league.

  3. The hit that really ended Savard's career was Matt Cooke, but fair enough to have the hit that I think gave him the original injury that he tried to play through

  4. Im seeing this video the same day as Adam Johnson sadly passed away. Im not even a Pens fan, but he passed away way to early and young. RIP

  5. Franzen looked like he was mouthing off with a little bit of a grin as he got up on his injury

  6. You made this video because of the guy who got his neck sliced by the blade of a skate in Britain former NHL player

  7. It's been a shitty year so far.
Hammond, Dalgic, Johnson… and Glemser who is paralyzed.
Hopefully this season won't go on this way.

  8. How dare you say Steve Moore was a concussion. Bertuzzi knocked him out from behind then jumped on him fracturing his neck and spine. Bertuzzi should have never been allowed back in the league after that.

  9. its sad that there are plenty of commentators of the game that recognize an emergency, and then there are those that just want to cheer for the home team no matter what. you know who im talking about.

  10. still think Todd Bertuzzi should of got charged with assault. One of the most ridiculous things ive ever seen in hockey.

  11. I always wondered why nhl players dont wear the helmets with the full visor or bars. Protects their most vital parts of the body

  12. Its too bad they havent invented equipment that protects a players face reducing these career ending injuries. Maybe like a cage or visor that screws into your helmet so that when a stick or puck comes up, it hits the cage instead of the persons face. Hopefully someone invents something soon!
