We need to talk about J.T. Miller

I created this video to show that J.T. Miller has been playing incredible so far this season for the Vancouver Canucks. Miller has proven that he is one of the most complete players in the NHL and one of the best power forwards in the NHL as well. He has been playing amazing both 5 on 5 and in special teams for the Vancouver Canucks. If JT Miller and the Vancouver Canucks can keep this up, he could be one the candidates to win MVP this season.

  1. Gonna give you a comment since the vid was pretty much on point. If he and Hughes and Pettersson keep up the pace, though, they ALL will be 100 pts plus. Not too shabby.

  2. He's one of the reasons the Canucks management decided to sign him long term instead of Bo Horvat. At the time it was questionable but so far this year JT has proven he was worth it. It also helps he has a coach in Tocchet who was a very similar player in his heydays who understands & knows how to keep JT in check & motivate him.

  3. Huggy, JT and Petterson on top of the leader boards is awesome. MN wild hockey has been dookie so far this year so I’ve been following the Canucks and I can’t be happier. Might by a Hughes Jersey.

P.S. Could you make a video breaking down hockey system basics for newbies?

  4. miller goes through the entire ottawa team and scores. saw it during the game and once on sportsnet. mc david scores the same type of goal and they've shown it 103 times and counting. last year anybody could have got him, now he's untouchable.

  5. Miller is amazing when he is. Miller is an example of someone who knows he isn't as fancy but uses what he got to 110% and still makes the top list, and he's totally fearless, he doesn't care what your name is, he will just plough over you. Players like this just needs a coach from time to time who understands that working hard takes a lot of energy out of you, so they need some whipping from time to time to set them back on track, and I think players like Miller enjoys that coaching.

  6. Miller can play any forward position. Plays with his heart on his sleeve. Real proud to see this guy mature from his days in NY. One of the worst trades the Rangers made to include him with Ryan McDonagh to Tampa Bay.

I do not think he will win the Hart Trophynonly because he, Pettersson, and Hughes would all steal votes from one another.

  7. JT's been killing it on the ice lately, but I'm not fully sold yet – call it cautious optimism. I'm curious about how he'll handle the pressure if EP40 or other key players get sidelined. Can he lead the team without resorting to those flashy stick-waving antics? We're all on the same page here, but hey, let's enjoy the dominance while it lasts. Thanks a bunch!

  8. Good to see him back in form. There were some dark moments with him last year. His effort really wasn't there then, but it sure is now.
