Id rather see Monahan center Caufield's line. Poor kid, he's playing with Dvorak and Slaf, hard to get things going with no support. Monahan, Caufield, and Slaf, tell Slafkovsky to stick his big body in front of the goalie, and dont move! He is pretty strong on the boards tho, fighting for the puck, and he will only get better at that. I do like some things i see from him, but when u remember he's a 1st round pick, it's hard not to expect more, of course we'd get the "Covid" 1st round pick. lol. Habs dont have much in the luck department! lol.
Kinda feel bad about the around a point per game guys in Laval, Roy, Farrell, Andersson, Gignac not being called up despite multiple extremely low production players at the big club level and knowing Armia gets the first dibs anyway because he’s a veteran the CH want to trade.
I was looking at our wins this year, check this out… Five of six of the wins we have, are OT or shoot out wins. We only have one multi goal win, against Buffalo, we beat them 3-1. Every other game was a 1 goal lead (that we won). We have gone to OT seven times out of 16 games, that's pretty much half of the games(I said pretty much, i know it's not half, before someone jumps on that! lol). 11 games, (win or loss) are 1 goal games. We have 4 losses by 1 goal, easily could have gone the other way. If we WOULD STAY OUT OF THE ***** BOX!!!
We need a win. Sorry Booins. Caufield needs to play with Monahan or Suzuki. Marty should know this. Hopefully this experiment with Dvorak ends soon. Go Habs Go
