The biggest issue with the defensive system is they focus more on just preventing pucks from getting to danger zones rather than trying to gain possession and get it out.
This is not and never has been a strategy that has worked in NHL hockey. It does work in AHL, where Pascal has won a coach of the year. But for some reason no one has the guts to tell him that it fly here
We’d probably have another win or two if we capitalized on greasy goals like that every time.

We have some of the sloppiest PP passing I have ever seen. We need passing drills like 8 hours a day or something.
Remember that game a while ago when we beat the caps in overtime and the entire team openly mocked that stupid ass bird celebration Kuznetsov used to do? That was awesome.

Olivier’s contact with the goalie happened outside of the crease. If anything, they would’ve called it on him pinning Lindy down with his stick, but they probably saw it as necessary to stay upright
