I mean, losing is never great, but losing to the Thrashers ***sucks***
Can’t win a game not registering a shot for 24 minutes. I know we need an actual 1C bad, but jesus Kells/Schmaltz had no time to breathe
I know AT doesn’t want this just yet, but I think putting Cooley on the first line frees up Schmaltz and Kells a bit more
Fair play to the Jets they were defensively very good and disciplined, we hardly had a chance to get the PP going. Looked a little leggy perhaps the long road trip but certainly not good enough offensively. Also seemed a little disjointed with the shuffling of the lines. Think we need to simplify it and stick some pucks on net with bodies in front, 7 shots in 2 periods is rubbish. Thought Bjugstad was good again tho tonight, few good looks and battled hard.
O’Brien led the team in SOG with the 2nd lowest TOI…
Jets defense completely shut us down. They were stealing pucks and grabbing rebounds for a fast counter… had some bad turnovers and times where the defense was far out of the play. After about halfway through the second it just felt like we’d given up.
Missed the third period. Damn…. To be fair, Winnipeg is on a hot streak.. On to the next!
I’d like to see the all time wins losses against the jets because I swear they always beat the yotes!
