  1. Drew, I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.
Life long Habs fan from the early 60s , yes I've seen it all lol, Tom from Welland 👍

  2. Hey Dekes ! A great game ! Nice to see Slafkovsky starting to use that big body to start laying on some hits and he's got a goal coming soon I think. Gally is doing Gally things again which is great. Kaiden is our top defender for sure. Monty was solid again. Still don't like that set play of start out and drop it back pp ! We're just helping the other team kill it off most times and it kills any momentum. Mathesons' play was what I like to see. Chris Lee ! I figured we were doomed when I saw him on the ice. Lol ! All in all a great game ! And let's face it ; it's Always great to beat Boston and the Rat ! GHG

  3. The Habs have had so many injury issues over the years that everyone's expectation are low for this team. I took a chance and bet $20 on this team making the playoffs (That was before Dach's season ending injury). They are more talented that they get credit for. A lot of that talent is young though and that's why I think many people don't think the Habs will do well this season but I think being thrown at the wolves last year sped up their development. They had 5 rookie defensemen playing last season. If they stay relatively, healthy maybe they can still make the playoffs even though they lost Dach in Game 2.

They played very well last night and even if they don't make the playoffs, if they keep it up, I can at least enjoy watching them play this season.

  4. It was their 2nd best game they played this year. The one thing the team needs to work on is " the killer instinct."

  5. Great game tonight, a little unexpected to be honest. If they can stay healthy and the goalies don't let in stinkers, it should be a good season.

That being said, i think Barron got hurt in the game.

  6. Dekertons rejoice! Excellent game from the Habs, hope they continue this compete level!

  7. The Habs haven't scored alot of goals this year but they have scored at least 2 goals in every game they've played so far this year.

  8. Hey great win for sure. Entertaining game, absolutely! Does it feel good as a Habs fan, you bet!! But the power play still looks god awful. Just saying….

  9. Just found your awesome videos and so impressed with content and hilarious delivery ! Was a huge fan in the 70’s and will be a loyal Habs fan forever. Yes Sammy M is solid and very underrated. Very poised and cool headed. Keep them coming !!

  10. Just wanna point out that gally has the same amount of goals as caufield… and is on pace for a 30 goal season… GO GALLY ! U deserve that money man for what u did AND what ur still doing, this guy will pay the price for what he did to his body for the rest of his life

  11. What I relay like now is the fact that every Habs players believe that they have that ability to score goals on a regular bases. I m 60 and this is probably the best offensive and energetic Habs team I have ever seen.

  12. I'm a little torn about the upcoming vancouver game.. The habs and the canucks are my favorite teams.. Both are doing so well to start the season. But i'm a hab's fan first. So my prediction is canadians 5 Canucks 4 in OT… It should be a really good game!

  13. If he had any luck, Anderson could have had 6 goals in the last two games. It looks to me that they are focusing on improving Slafkovski's game away from the puck. Also, in the last three games Slafkovski is getting so much better at board battles for the puck.

  14. Great video Dekes! What a game!

Can we just take a second to mention Suzuki now has more goals than Caufield!!!! How did that happen??😂

  15. Great execution from the team tonight. Well done Habs. Hasn't St. Louis been managing the PP lately? Thought he was. Great review. GHG

  16. Game was incredible! Matheson has been sooooo good!!! It's crazy to think how we got him, for Petry mouse!! lol. He's so fast, and can handle the puck so well. I bet he could easily switch up to forward, and play probably better then some of our current forwards, I wont mention any names *cough Armia cough cough*. lol. Thanks for another entertaining video. Take 'er easy Drew.

  17. Oh ya, Thanks for the extra shout-out to Gallagher, a lot of fans had totally written him off, and he's surprised us all!!! So glad to see him doing well. We might not see, as fans, that he's worth $6m a year, but a lot of us dont realize the presence he brings EVERY game, in the locker room, he is STILL the heart beat of this team. Go Habs Go, another tough game tonight? Another "W"???? lol

  18. I admit to having my doubts with MSL's inexperienced coaching, and less structure, more trust your skills and play hockey philosophy…but I have to give him a lot of credit and you can definitely tell he has this team playing like a 23 player team…you can see the "wolf pack" culture and mentality he talks about on the ice. Really happy to see Gally having a good healthy start to the season and quieting the naysayers, at least for now. Gally showed how important he is esp vs teams like Boston. I definitely feel for Anderson…effort is there but it is just not going in for him right now. MSL giving Anderson a ton of patience and constantly putting him in offensive situations. Still a tad worried about Caufield…don't want him to be a one trick OT pony and I hope he can learn to be a positive contributor in other ways to expand his game. Really pleased to see Barron's more consistent play, flashes of progression in Slaf's game and the emergence of Guhle's overall play. Lots to be hopeful and excited about…we (me included) just all have to take a breath and not overly exaggerate individual wins and losses…just take them as they come and try to enjoy the evolving development ride.

  19. Honestly this rebuild has been so much fun to watch. The last few years have been such a ride, from the playoffs run until now. And we're not even competing yet. So hopeful for the future and loving this team already 🙏
