#34 was great early. It could have been much uglier without that, but you do need to watch a game replay. That is the only way to get a complete dose of the pain. Slaf will learn (soon?) to keep his feet moving, and get proper position on players, thus reducing the amount of attention he draws from the Zebra clowns.
Slafkovsky was certainly the bright spot in this game. Defense was poor at best. Cole just doesn't have it going on for some reason. Newhook is a real dissapointment so far. The usual amount of soft or noncalls. Just a poor effort overall.
I didn't see the game either. I was out with friends. It's a little discouraging seeing them drop 4 in a row but the season is still early.. Maybe if Anderson gets going and Slafkovsky continues to improve, they can turn things around.
After the first 4 or 5 games of the 2023/24 season, I thought Cole Caufield was definitely a shoe-in for 50 goals. However, he's in a little slump with 1 goal in his last 12 games. He only has 5 goals after 18 games played.
Gallagher in the middle of the ice in Boston zone gets hauled down. NO CALL. Boston goes the other way and scores. WTF!!!!!!! Call every little thing against MTL and nothing the way. TYPICAL REFEREE SCREW JOB!!!!!!!!!!
Look at caufield being a mastermind… the kid is purposely not scoring to allow us to get some more talent at the next draft… team first, always! Go habs go top 5 pick next summer! (Sarcasm on caufield, but I really hope the habs finish low again we need another one of those top young talented player)

I love Slaf but imagine having Cooley (almost a point per game) and Michkov (beating Ovi's KHL numbers). Bobrov is a scam
