Connor McDavid is NOT happy about this

Connor McDavid’s post-game interview told us a lot about how he felt about the Edmonton Oilers and their poor start to the 2023-24 NHL season. This video breaks it all down in more detail. #hockey #connormcdavid #nhl

  1. Try focusing on hockey instead self-promotion activities. Try passing the puck to your teammates. (The operative word being 'team'. Try checking your ego at the door by leaving some money on the table so the team can afford the depth required to win a cup. I predicted after his first year, that he'd never win a cup.

  2. The same issues they had last year, only more pronounces, as they traded some of what little defensive depth they had in yamo.. that dude was a defensive powerhouse, highly underrated

1 second agothe problem is that the top guys cant work their magic when the house of cards is in a pile on the floor, so to speak. They traded away too much of our defensive depth, and have made WAY too many bad investments in nurse, bouchard, soup and skinner.

  4. You need to step it up if you want to be one of the top NHL clickbaiters

  5. I think McDavid is taking this year easy. He really put everything into last season. I still don't understand why they just don't take off and do something better with their lives with all that dough – he can literally buy anything – they have to start getting better life advice outside of the rink – there are a million things I can think of better than hockey to do with all that dough.

  6. This has finally caught up to Edmonton. How many times does it need to be said. They are one dimensional and as long as you have that quack of a GM who bolsters these long contracts, it will forever be that way. Kind of the price of having arguably #1 and #2 players in the world

  7. Imagine blaming the d men and goalie for 7 years. At some point your two best players have to take responsibility, it’s never been mcdavid or drais fault. It’s the 6 different goalies they’ve had or the 23 different d men they’ve had over the last 7 years. It’s all their faults and none of it falls on Mcdavid or Drai. Ya ok. I’m a huge oilers fan and I’ll be the first to say Mcdavid cheats the game quite a bit. Defense isn’t even in his vocabulary. I’ve seen him float back countless times per game, he leaves the zone early often to try to sneak behind the defence but this often results in him way out of position in his own zone allowing the opposing teams center to do what he wishes

  8. You clearly haven’t seen a single oilers game this season. Neither Draisaitl or McDavid have played well recently, so if he’s unhappy he should look in the mirror.

  9. well when you make the BIG BUCKS even if your not really working for it this is what happens

  10. Bad goaltending?? Dude McDavid is BARELY scoring… 2 goals. Thats all. Yet whenever he scores EVERYONE loses their minds and say hes the best to ever play. Team effort, but I’ve seen Crosby carry the team on his back.

  11. I think McDavid is starting showing he doesn’t want to be in Edmonton. Pretty sad but it seems like a possibility.

  12. Such a shame. There is so much talent on that team. It just proves the point that every team needs a General Manager. Someone who can and will make necessary decisions to right the ship when necessary by changing players or changing coaches wherever necessary. I still don't understand why the Edmonton Oilers ownership decided to own a franchise hockey team without a General Manager. Everyone in hockey knows how important a general manager is to the organization. The GM monitors team performance, evaluates players, and makes adjustments to improve the team when things are going horribly wrong, such as now. To think that the Edmonton Oilers owner is trying to run a hockey franchise with no General Manager just boggles my mind.

  13. McDavid is more worried about rainbow tape on stick than scoring with his stick. He's losing focus.
