Sabres win and a Bills win is a good day.
Sloppy but still a W. Buffalo sports needed today as a rebound day and it’s time to move on and go on a tear. Benson and Dahlin both had nice games and UPL was solid as well

Those last 30 seconds aged me a year. Not super inspiring but i’ll take it.
Glad they got the win, but I hesitate to call that a good game. Pretty sloppy with a lot of time spent in the D zone as a result of some ugly turnovers. Games against teams like Chicago shouldn’t be this close.
UPL with another solid game. Dahlin is on fire and taking the reins in TNT’s absence.
Getting outplayed by the Hawks is peak Sabres to be honest.

A win is a win but man that was tough to watch at times. Especially considering Chicago was on a 2nd game of a b2b.
It’s still crazy to me Granato will risk running out the best team in order to make sure Okposo, Girgensons and EJ all get out there. Theres no reason to run 11F and 7D tonight. But he cant sit RJ because of how well hes playing but also cant sit EJ/Clifton because you know, PK (which EJ also sucks on) + Vets. If you’re going to run 11F then why sit Jost over Girgs and Okposo? Hes played better than both of them. Ah yes that’s right. Vets. Why put Okposo on PP2 instead of a guy like Krebs who has shown 1000x more offensive potential? Veterans > everything else. It’s kind of disgusting at this point. My coach not putting out the best team for what? Politics? If he genuinely thinks EJ and Okposo gives us the best chance to win then he simply isn’t a good enough coach.
Also, can we punt Matty Ellis to the moon? Loved him as a player but what credentials does he have to be the Powerplay strategist? He clearly can’t do it.
Anyways, Dahlin played great. Benson is a dog and should not be sent down to the WHL. I think hes shown hes an asset to this team. Johnson also is a top4 Dman on this team. Greenway is our best penalty killer. UPL didn’t play bad either. Some positives forsure I’m just really against these coaching staff decisions atm.
Playing bad but still winning two days after dominating and losing is the peak hockey experience. We take those though! Just stay afloat
