  1. This is a pivotal point for not only the Canucks season, but the franchise in general. If the Canucks flame out this year, petey, Hughes, boeser are all probably gone. Then we’ll have to restart again…

  2. I always liked Soucy. I would love it if Nucks could get a player like Pionk. I am still salty about losing Tanev and you know Flames will do anything to kepp him from coming back. smart of them I guess.

  3. You’re observation is bang on. I’ve noticed the exact same lack lustre ability to come back in recent games. As a matter of fact, I walked away from my TV in CGY and SEA. It appears they’re always a step behind. Shorthouse noted they don’t have the support behind them. Not having Soucy and Suter is having a bigger impact than I had hope. And Alvin wanted to get more depth last week, so he’s seeing the same thing. But with the market cap so tight, it’s hard to make that trade.

  4. Not Good enough the run is over we could of got Defense of Helped but never Adressed the right shot Defense falling of the standings soon 10 point gap so 2 kings winnings

  5. They haven't been great 5 on 5 and ya when you are missing a couple real good two way players it is really noticeable. With such a hot start every team is scouting them extensively and are ready to play them. They are just reverting to the mean that the team really is now, but they will get better as they learn the systems better. With that many points in the bank they will make the playoffs easily as i predicted and their game will get better. Even Vegas is reverting to the mean so it is normal for a team to get to the team they are over an 82 game schedule. Thus far Boston remains freakishly good when you consider they lost two excellent center men. I think there time is coming none the less.

  6. They’ve definitely overachieved but no need to panic they are a good team with a lot of new players on the roster.

  7. All teams including good ones go through this. That’s why going off to a good start was really important for the Canucks, 12-5-1 is still a great record last time I checked.

  8. to me, it almost sees like they are getting too concerned with points and being fancy. The structure seems to have loosened . The talent is there to score. Just try to play every game the way they did against Dallas . Focus on tight defense and solid puck possession , build from that . The three headed points monster is cool but not as cool as getting a bunch of wins. The scoring talent is there, it seems like they are working hard without using their heads correctly right now.

  9. Now, it's starting to make sense as to why there are rumours that they're interested in players like Zadorov and Kessel…

  10. If the Canucks somehow go on a loosing streak and end up in mediocrity again then the city of Vancouver needs a new hockey franchise, that’s all I can say

  11. Why doesn’t Petey skate… why doesn’t he do moves…. Why doesn’t he shoot. Remember his first ever NHL goal? He got speed off the rush and sniped it top corner, when’s the last time you saw him do that?
