They need to use some of their draft capital and prospects in trades. No more sitting on the fence. The Pens used to retool every off season with quality role players and expiring vets at the deadline to freshen up the squad. They need to move some 1st rounders, 2nd rounders, Holloway, Campbell out the door and bring in someone like Saros or Blackwood. I understand Skinner is young and some of those goals aren't his fault but hes also not stealing them any games and he doesn't seem capable of it. Saros is used to facing massive volume and can actually steal games. He's still young enough and his cap hit is 5M for the next two years. You have two generational talents right now…why are you not selling the farm to put out the best team possible to win now. The window is closing fast. If Drai walks in the offseason then its a total rebuild for the oil and McDavids prime will be wasted for another 3-5 yrs.
I am a Oiler fan .. The Oilers are a great team ..They are not an embarrassment , nor are they pathetic
