  1. Sure, give him to the habs. Give the habs the next 5 draft lotteries too. We all know the NHL really wants to prop up big market teams, history shows the bias.

  2. I mean if u can dump cambell and add a goalie and maybe a defensman i would do it at this point as much as i want Soupy to succed its not happening in edmonton when he signed that contract i knew he screwed up lots of players take a little less so they can look good on other teams cambell shouldve known hes going to a team wittle to no defence

  3. What would Habs want w/ Campbell? he gas 4 years (including ''23-'24) remaining on his overpaid contract and he's playing poorly in the AHL. Hughes is trying to dump some bad contracts (see Armia + Gallagher) – not take more of them on!

  4. 3 first round picks to get rid of Campbell and to get Allen, this sounds like a CH fan totally not biased and realistic mock trade.

Calgary gave a first to get rid of Monahan at a similar yearly cap hit, but was on a much shorter deal that’s probably where they get that 2 first round to get rid of Campbell, still doesn’t explain the extremely high price tag for Allen, hell MTL got Pearson and a 3rd for DeSmith who’s arguably a better goaler.

A first, Bourgault, a 3rd, a 7th and a prospect with a french name would probably be enough for Montreal and look less bad than 3 first for EDM in case it backfires.

  5. Your worst take Lego. Allen is too old to be worth a haul. Not getting 3 1sts for a 33 year old with maybe 2 seasons left in him 🤣🤣

  6. Allen isn't a starter. Once he gets too many starts his play falls apart. He needs to be put in a tandem situation, Edmonton doesn't have that other goalie.

  7. Campbell for 3 1st round pick, relax, that's almost what it would cost to make a offer sheet to a star player above 10.5 million.

  8. Jack Campbell contract really sucks and he plays so bad, it will be immediate buyout which puts habs in bad situation. Edmonton should offer insane offer to get that done.

  9. 3 first 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    woodguy is very dumb lol

  10. Yet, another goalie destroyed by the Oilers.
I can only imagine, his confidence level.
Place at least some blame on the defence and all players with – ratings…
He wasn't this bad with the Leafs.

  11. They should trade Mcdavid and Draisaitl for AHL super star Joel Armia. Habs will also include some coupons for La Cage.

  12. Montreal got a first round pick for Monahan, who was about $6 million for a year, Campbell has three years left after this one so they are literally just multiplying the deal by 3.

I honestly want this deal to happen just for the absolute freak out the hockey world would have. This would genuinely be one of the biggest free agent mistakes of all time, and one of the best trades in Montréal Canadiens history.

  13. What's the price to take Campbell off their hands? A first round pick for sure.
Take Allen and Anderson, we will take Campbell, a first and Foegele and Bourgault.

    Or Allen and Dvorak($8.3) for Campbell(5$) + Foegele (2.75) + Bourgault and a first.
