McAvoy hit on Verhaeghe – Have your say!

Charlie McAvoy caught Carter Verhaeghe in the head with this hit. There was no call on the play. McAvoy would go on to level Oliver Ekman-Larsson in the head later in this same game and receive a match penalty. Should this one on Verhaeghe have been called too? Have your say!

  1. This is also a hit to the head with an upward motion. He should have been ejected for this hit.

  2. 3 out of 5 Troubas. He saw a chance to hit someone in the head with a good chance of it not being called, and took it. It's the usual leap up into a head hit again. Need to make these 10 games minimum, then we will see people NOT do it anymore.

  3. Greasy hit targetting the head. End of story. McAvoy knows Ekman-Larsson can't see it coming, but drives through with his shoulder to the head anyway. 4 game suspension too light.

  4. Weird, thought I was watching the 2nd hit on Ekman-Larsson. This one was virtually the same. What an assh*le.
